I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!
I am sitting at work looking out my window and watching it snow. It is beautiful. We already have about 2 inches and its still snowing. It looks so Christmasy. Hunter was here this weekend. He and Benj went looking at deer out to Johnson Canyon. Hunter had to go home before the snow hit though. I can't believe Christmas is coming so quickly. Scott and I went to tithing settlement last night.

This is getting old!!
November hasn't been too great. I have been sick since the 3rd, and I still have a sore throat. I guess it is time I went to the doctor. I don't want to, but this is getting old. We are looking forward to going to Tucson for Thanksgiving. I want to feel my best because Scottia likes the after Thanksgiving sales. Maybe her and Stasha won't drag me around too much??? I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Miss and love you all.

SHOPPING DAY!
Robin Campbell and I went shopping yesterday all day. I was so pooped when I got home. I also spent too much money, but it was fun.

AT THE CABIN
We sure had a good time this weekend at the cabin. (Our traditional deer hunt) No one had any tags, but the fishing was good. Of course the talks around the bomb fire about past hunting trips is always fun with a lot of laughs. We played cards, watched the turkeys and deer, and ate and ate. Mark and Corinne rode around on their Rhino. Bret and Duana and Qyade, Shane and Tina, Robin and Reo, Mom, Scott and I and Mark and Corinne were all there. We missed the other family members that couldn't attend. It wasn't that cold this year. Qyade slept in a tent and he was warm. We refuse to give up this tradition even though hunting has changed.

DEER HUNT WITH NO DEER????
Well, we are getting ready to go deer hunting, but it will really be fishing and wood hunting. No one has a tag this year. I miss the way the deer hunts used to be. We all came and camped. It didn't matter if we slept on the ground without a tent. One time Scott and I woke up and we were covered with snow. My bones couldn't handle that anymore. Grandpa and Grandma came to camp one year when it was snowing and Granpa only had on his unlined Levi jacket.

Have a Great Weekend
Its a beautiful day right now, but the weather said it is suppose to be stormy. It will still be a nice weekend. All weekends are good. Hunter will be here I think for the last time before he moves to California. It is very hard on Benjie and Me. We sure are going to miss him.

Just a Note
Yesterday I went to DUP (Daughters of the Utah Pioneers) with Mom. I remember when Grandma C. always went to DUP. Mom is trying to get me and Tina to join. Its getting a little cool in the mornings here, but the evenings still are very pleasant.

CONFERENCE
It is a beautiful friday. I would like to be working outdoors. I can't wait to listen to conference. We are suppose to get a little rain tomorrow, but I don't know. Mom has started working as a cook at the Senior Citizens Center. I was upset with her, but she said she was having fun. I hope she knows how much her health can take.

Relief Society General Meeting
Saturday was a busy day. I weeded my roses then Mom and I went to Graydon's wedding reception. Tanya held the open house at her mom's house (Yvonne). Graydy sure is a tall handsome man. After the reception, we went to the Relief Society Meeting. There was a dinner at 5:00 and then the meeting at 6:00. It was a good day. Elder Uchdorf was the priesthood speaker. He did a fantastic job. After the meeting was over, we were outside and Mom said "I could fall in love with him".

I have been tagged by Scottia!
I am: OLD!
I think: about my loved ones who have left the earth.
I know: the church is true
I want: financial security
I dislike: going to the grocery store
I miss: my kids and grandkids
I fear: late night phone calls
I feel: happy when I see my children living the gospel.
I hear: rain on my metal roof
I smell: a lot of things, but especially my roses.
I cry: when I feel the spirit
I usually: like feeding the horse, if I'm not too lazy.
I search: for my ancestors
I wonder: What the future will bring.
I regret: not being a better parent.
I love: my family
I care: about what my family is doing with their lives
I always: worry about my fat gut
I worry: about if we'll have enough money to retire
I am not: a happy camper if I am lied to
I remember: the ranch and VT
I believe: in after life
I dance: whenever Scott and I hear a song on TV and we have enough energy to get up.
I sing: whenever I feel like it
I don't always: get my house cleaned
I argue: very little now
I write: once in awhile
I won: Nothing
I lose: my glasses
I wish: I was financial secure
I listen: to the prophets
I don't understand: why the people in the world are so wierd!
I can usually be found: at work
I am scared: when I ride scary rides at Lagoon
I am happy: because of many things

Wonderful Weekend
Scottia and Nolan and kids came for the weekend. It was wonderful. I love having them. I got to watch the kids while they went to the temple on Saturday. Peyton loved having Traeger around. Peyton called him "Little Dude". He would pat his cheeks and rub his head.

Temple
Mom and I are going to the temple tomorrow. I really have a meeting I need to be to in St. George for the City, so I decided it would be a good time to go to the temple. The meeting doesn't start until 6:30 p.m. Its getting close to my bedtime!

Last night about 10:30 p.m. the power went out, so of course I was curious to see if it was just us, or if everyone else was off too. I went outside, and I could see cop cars everywhere down by the highway. Cars were running everywhere. I told Scott I was going to go and check it out. He about died, he told me to get back in bed, but I was too curious because I saw smoke too. Then I heard and saw the fire engine and the ambulance. I had a hard time finding my shoes in the dark. I went down and drove around. Cop cars were surrounding Coleman's Gas station. I still don't know what was going on. That was my excitement for the week. Rae

LABOR DAY WEEKEND!
Today Friday August 29th Scott and I are finally going to spend a little time at the cabin in Hatch. We have never gone up there just the two of us. We have work to do, but it still should be fun.
